The kitchen and dining area are encased by large windows and overlook Font Lake. Beaver Island loons can be heard from the deck while enjoying the beautiful lake view. ARCHIE LAFRENIERE’S PARADISE BAY COTTAGE
Clean, cozy two-bedroom cottage sleeps 6 (one bedroom has a double bed, the other twin beds, and a pull-out queen couch in living room). Its located on a private beach with a lovely view of the harbor and its activity, just 4 blocks from town/boat dock. It has a fully equipped kitchen, new living room furniture, satellite TV, VCR, DVDI charcoal grill, picnic tables, and beach fire pit. The shallow water makes it perfect for small children. Off season rates available, two night minimum. Prior to mid-June rates are $550 per week. Again, after Labor Day, rates are $550 per week. The Convent is a “stone’s throw” to the public beach and playground and is situated on a huge expanse of lawn overlooking the beautiful harbor and breathtaking sunrises. The convent is short walking distance to the Island’s restaurants and pubs, shops, Community Center, the municipal marina and the ferry dock. Sleeping occupancy is a maximum of fifteen people, as there are eight bedrooms, all on the second floor. (Four with double beds, three sets of twin bedrooms and one room with a twin bed and two cribs) There are two full baths also on the second floor. We do not provide linens and bath towels but do provide pillows and blankets. Downstairs, the kitchen is completely equipped with all the necessary cooking and eating accessories, including microwave, toaster and two coffee makers. This floor has a large dining room, a spacious (double) living room, a play room and a half bath. The living rooms are equipped with Satellite TVs, a VCR, DVD player. The paved deck contains three grills, lawn chairs, two large picnic tables, and privacy from the street. All this for only $1600.00 per week plus $200.00 refundable deposit.
